Other things we did for improvisation included stand up comedy workshops working with newspaper titles and two days of a physical theatre workshop with 'Frantic Assembly'. We could link this too the final performance as things like comedy and Frantic Assembly start off as improvisation that you need to work on.
On Monday 1st June it was our improvisation task. Ella explained that there would be two parts to this exam. Our groups were picked at random and we then had to pick an envelope. In the envelope was a title and that was what our first three minute play had to be about. It was called 'Ghost girl in a red dress and a grey figure spotted in a cemetery'. Me, Shakira, Tom and Saskia was a group and we decided on the idea of story telling and we re told the story of 'Red Riding Hood', we made it sound creepy but it ended up including comedy.
Our second video is the improv task we had to do on the spot where we went up in our groups one by one and chose a piece of paper that had a title on it. Our one was 'Mystery of holes in Swiss cheese solved'. It had to be three minutes.
